Travel Journal
I need a good site for travel blogs?
My boyfriend and I are travelling for 4 months and we want to keep our family and friends updated as to what we’re up to using stuff like daily journals, photos and videos.
Does anyone know a good site that we can upload our info to? Maybe a good travel blog?

www.travelblog.org is indeed one of the better sites out there. www.travelpod.com is also highly regarded as are www.travellerspoint.com/blog.cfm and http://blogs.bootsnall.com. I’d stick with one of those 4 as they’ve been around the longest.
It really depends on what you find most important. For example, none of the above except Travellerspoint and Bootsnall allow you to choose your own template. Or WordPress or Blogger would allow you to do the same but they aren’t specifically travel related.
Most allow unlimited photo and video uploads (Travellerspoint just started with this two weeks ago and will also save full size photos as a backup) and have maps (though I don’t think Bootsnall has this). One shameless plug I will leave you with is the fact that Travellerspoint allows ‘moblogging’ which means you can email in entries. That can be a huge time saver.
