Pillow Blanket
Can I bring on a blanket and pillow on the grayhound?
I was just wondering, If I am plaining on spending an extra $20 for the extra bags to be checked in (one for myself and one for my boyfriend), ontop of the free checked bag, my purse (which they dont count) and the carry on bag that they also count as free, can I bring on a pillow and blanket, even if both the carry on bags are full, or will they charge us?
You can go to Wal-Mart and purchase a small travel pillow. I did this for a flight to CA. I placed it inside a large zippered bag and squeezed the air out. I suggest you also get a thin blanket- perhaps a light weight throw that you can get rather inexpensively. These should fit
into your carry-on with no prob. I would not suggest that you try to walk on with a full-sized pillow, and the travel pillow is quite comfy. I have been sleeping on mine for 4 years now – ever since my tip to CA.
If you can’t find a throw think about purchasing a couple of baby receiving blankets – easily available at a dollar store.
